Coding Curves Is Live!

[ book ]

I did it! It’s live! It’s for sale! My seventeenth book!!!

cover for book Coding Curves by Keith Peters

You can buy it on Gumroad: https://bit101.gumroad.com/l/coding_curves

It’s along side my last self-published book, https://bit101.gumroad.com/l/playingwithchaos that was published nearly 13 years ago!

It’s only $9.99 US, which is pretty cheap for a book these days. And if you buy either one, you can get the other for 40% off. Look at me being a marketer!

When you buy it, you’ll get four versions of the book:

All four of these are free from DRM. The EPUB was validated with EPUBCheck which is a fantastic tool if you are creating EPUBs. It found a bunch of issues and I was able to fix all of them. And all the other formats were generated from the EPUB.

If you want to know more about the kind of curves you’ll be creating with this book, I created a mini site to show them off:

What’s next?

Getting back into serious writing was a whole lot of fun. I realized how much I’ve missed writing books. The new workflow I’ve developed makes writing and self-publishing a full book about as easy as it can be. With that said…

I’ve already started the work on my next book, Coding Color! This is a book about writing code to create, modify, manage, and effectively use color, color schemes, and palettes. And understanding and being able to convert between different color spaces and models. As you can see by my posts over the past few months, this is an area I’ve been doing a very deep dive into recently. I’ve learned a lot. This isn’t going to be a theoretical or philisophical book about color. It will be very hands on, writing functions that do things with color. I’m very excited about being able to immerse myself in this project now that Coding Curves is complete. I’m sure I’ll be posting more about it soon!
