Sayonara. Mata raishuu!

Good bye. See you next week! Throwing my freshly charged DS Lite in the bag, a quick blog post, tossing the laptop in the bag too, and calling a taxi for the airport.

Then it’s a two-hour flight to Detroit, two-hour layover, a twelve-hour flight to Nagoya, and a one-hour drive into Mie-ken. We are armed to the teeth with weapons of 4-year-old-child-boredom destruction. Leapster? check, coloring books? check, toys? check, portable dvd player? check.

Again, short of an occasional trip to the local library, which has internet access, I’ll be off the grid. Looking forward to peace and quiet, fresh air and the distinct lack of pixels in front of my face for the next week.

Jaa ne!

  2. Don’t forget to stop by Ise-shi and check out Naiku while in Mie-ken. Fantasic eats along there. Asama-yama’s gorgeous too.
