Microphone-based drawing tablet

Ingenious. I bet you could do that in Flash. Anyone know where to buy small, cheap microphones?

    cool.. and some little pressure sensors mounted between the board and the wall would be trick. It also makes me wonder if the same thing could be applied to a floor? i.e. pinpoint where footsteps are taking place on a floor?

    I suggested a webcam output could be modified and used as a tablet with flash on 12stone awhile back… but might be a bit of work on the hardware side.

    you can actually use speakers as crude microphones maybe take apart an old headset?

    Cheap mic? Heck, yes. I’d go with a cheap electret condenser, like the kind they sell for portable recorders. Then plug into the mic jack … cheaper than dealing with webcams, I think. Definitely possible with Flash.
