Ted Patrick knows the power of a good code sample. As founder of IFBIN, he created a community of Flex and ActionScript authors who pumped out great examples. It was a great idea, and was poised for success. But various things happened and for better or for worse, Ted is now part of Adobe, and IFBIN is in limbo. (There are plans for what it will become.)
In the meantime, however, Ted has started “Just MXML and ActionScript“. The concept, as I see it is kind of an open IFBIN. Anyone can submit samples, and anyone can download them and learn from them. I copied and pasted a few myself earlier today and learned a few things about Flex!
