360iDev

As I mentioned before, I’ll be speaking at 360iDev in a month or so.

If you are a Flash/Flex/ActionScript developer interested in learning iPhone development, I honestly think this is an incredible way to do it. First of all, you can’t beat the cost:

First 100 tickets are $200
Next 200 tickets are $350
Last 100 tickets are $499

Next, the lineup looks really interesting. Check it here:

Third, from a Flash Platform user viewpoint, this is going to rock:

– Emanuele Cipolloni is doing “From Flash to iPhone”.
– James Eberhardt is doing “Learning the iPhone SDK from a Flash Developer’s Perspective”.
– I’m doing “Making Things Move on the iPhone” – not specifically Flash oriented, but if you read my book, you’ll see much of it here.
– Scott Janousek is doing “Wicked Cool Things with the Accelerometer”. Not sure how Flash related this talk will be, but Scott is a long time Flash/Flash Lite guy, so I’m sure he’ll be talking in a language us Flasher’s can understand.

And Chris Allen is speaking, but unfortunately, that’s not the Red5 Chris Allen, aka, “my boss”, but some other Chris Allen who does iPhone stuff. Who knew? 😉

Even beyond the Flash-related stuff, there’s just going to be tons of cool content there. It’s my first 360 conference so I’m looking forward to it. Hope to see some familiar faces there.
