If you’ve never played N+, you should check it out. It’s a really well done game:

N+ started as N, a Flash based game created by MetaNet software. It later became a very popular XBox Live Arcade game, and is now about to be released for the Nintendo DS and Sony PSP.
I’ve played the Flash version and it’s great. I can’t wait for the DS version. It seems to be one of those games that would be just perfect for that platform.
The DS/PSP versions will both be released on August 26 and will both be priced at $19.99, which is pretty low for a quality game.
Here’s a preview vid from E3:
I respected their effort, but, it is a kind of 80’s type of game. People develop cool games, and comparing it with others, I think, this game sucks.
I respect your opinion, but to say it sucks is pretty harsh. The game is very well done. Just because it’s not your style doesn’t mean it sucks.
I think it’s very appropriate to have this game publishes by Atari, there’s indeed some 80’s charm.
This video sucks. This multiplayer N+ video is far more better, you can see the cooperation between the players:

By the way, if you are interested in the Flash version of N, I have got the permission from metanet software and modded it and introduced the N+ rotational laser drone + force field drone into the Flash version. I have also added 5 more different kind of drones and quite some other features for the mappers to create their own maps.
You can download the modded version here:

And you can see the modded maps at the official N User Map Archive:

I’ve played and beat both N and N+, except the new levels they just released. I first heard of N when it won an award at the Independent Game Festival. It was one of the first flash games to win if I’m not mistaken. My friends and I are hooked on the multiplayer games. I will definitely buy this for the DS when it comes out.
I agree the flash version is great
