OK, maybe not EVER, but this is pretty darned cool eye candy. You know the Virtue Desktop rotating cube effect you can get on the Mac? Tab Effect brings that to Windows, at least for your Firefox tabs. Come on, you know you want it. Go get it.

interesting effect, but not that great and impractical.
I just installed this, but could not get it to work. Seems like it does not work on the mac.
Seems pretty cool
It looks quite good.. but it doesn’t work with flash sites.
You get a black shape when it rotates.
It also seems buggy when you have the autoload previous tabs.
Not good for working, but definitely using showing off presentations.
cheers
Cute, but the kind of thing that’s for eyecandy only, and only under extreme conditions. I’m not sure having the browser freeze 2 seconds when switching tabs is a positive change.
Still impressive on a tech demo kind of way. I wouldn’t expect this to be possible inside FF.
I like it! No delay or freezing on my PC at all, its very fast! Yup, its just eye candy, but people like eye candy 🙂
Installed and removed immediately. Not so funny on a pc. And they have not a physical reference on a cube. It is only a frill (not working on my mac mini at work), also not so usable at the moment.
Tab Effect does not work on a mac. it requires directx, which is only available for
windows. please do not say “It doesen’t work on mr mac, what is wiv it?” anymore
so what the hell shuold i do to get it on my mac?
