So the other day I made a stupid little animation of the new AIR logo. To make the logo in Flash, I imported the bitmap of the logo and drew a vector version on a layer on top. Whatever.
Yesterday, John Grden emailed me asking where I got the vector version of the logo. Continuing an old joke between us, I attached the FLA and replied, “I made it myself, bitch!” 🙂
Unfortunately, the email I replied to was the one right next to John’s email in the inbox!
Now, imagine you are a recruiter looking at a potential candidate for a Flash development job. You write up a detailed description of the job, what’s entailed, the benefits, and why you think this candidate would be a great match. In reply you get a spinning logo with “I made it myself, bitch!”
My profuse apology was accepted. 🙂

That is way to funny! It really doesn’t get any better than that in terms of email screw-ups.
Oh man, that’s hilarious! Sometimes I get super-paranoid about emails and I check everything five times with my mouse hovering apprehensively over that “Send” button. It’s saved me a couple times but still, no one can escape the occasional misplaced email.
