A while back, I mentioned that my company was looking for a Flash Developer in the Santa Cruz area. Well, we still are, though the job description is a bit toned down. What we really need right now is someone with some decent knowledge in AS1, particularly doing OOP in AS1. The candidate wouldn’t have to be the world’s foremost authority on the subject, just be able to get started on his/her own. Far more importantly would be an enthusiasm for Flash and for learning and improving. If you spend half your day reading Flash forums, blogs and mailing lists, 10 points. If you’ve had more than one fight with your spouse/significant other about whether they are more important than Flash, 10 more points. (If you won the argument and managed not to break up, 20 points.)
