Inverse Kinematics


No, this is not yet another post about that poor lady falling endlessly on those spheres (though that is a great file)! It’s not about ICE (although Stuart is one of my heros). And it’s not even about flade. (A lot of IK news these days, eh?)

It’s to remind everybody that I’ll be speaking at Flash Forward in NYC next week, on the subject of Forward and Inverse Kinematics in Flash. I won’t be able to get to anything as complicated as falling woman in just under an hour, but I do have some pretty damn cool examples in mind, with concepts and code to back them up.

The very coolest part of it all is that I am writing this book, and chapters 13 and 14 are on Forward and Inverse Kinematics, and I just today finished chapter 14. So this stuff is pretty fresh in my mind. Didn’t plan it that way, but nice how things work out that way every once in a while.
