Today is my birthday. I woke up to find several e-cards, emails, and a bunch of tweets wishing me happy birthday. Had a nice dinner out with the family over the weekend and the office is doing a dual birthday lunch today (me and Todd Anderson – not really his birthday, but close enough).
So thanks everyone who has sent their birthday wishes. I really appreciate it. I’m 44 today and I know most of the people I associate with are younger than me. All I can say is that if you ever get worried about getting older, don’t. For me at least, life just keeps getting better. Things just have never been better, and I keep saying that over the last 8 years or so. I wouldn’t turn back time at all. Life is what you make it, so if you’re not happy with it, STOP whatever it is you are doing that’s making you not happy before you waste huge chunk of your life on it. Decide what you want to do and go for it. NOW.
