It’s kind of odd having a conference in my home town. It’s awesome having so many friends from around the world here, but I’m also working most of the time and have to go home to my family each night. So no wild partying for me, and I won’t really be able to see many sessions. I’m missing out today entirely, but I’ll try to make it over Thursday afternoon and all of Friday.
I did go to the speaker dinner / party last night, and it was good to catch up with people.

I couldn’t get a really good feel for the conference last night though. It doesn’t seem like there has been a lot of buzz about it. Also, the party was over and done by 10 – 10:30 p.m. and it didn’t look like many people were going out after that. I didn’t mind too much as I was just going home and had to get up to work this morning. But it seemed pretty tame for a Flash conference. I did hear that the conference was sold out though (not sure what that means in terms of numbers of attendees), so maybe it will pick up today.
Again, I won’t be back over there until tomorrow, so hopefully it will be in full swing by then. At any rate, I’m saving my energy for MAX which is just a week after FF ends, and then of course, the infamous Flash on the Beach!
One more thing! I have no idea what you should do, where you should go, or what you should see while you are in Boston. I live here, so it’s all boring to me. I really don’t know what you are going to find interesting. Take a duck tour. Walk the Freedom Trail. Shop on Newbury Street.
